To be honest, I was so bored watching the movie. I think I was humgry or something but at the beggining I didnt like it. It was because of the silence and I have neves liked mimes and Chaplin is not one of my favourite actors haha. Well the thing is that watching the movie I started to see the other point of view, the indrustalization.
I have to say that I was really impressed about this new technologies and ways of working. Thw way that the boss watch the employees it was scared! they worked like salves or robots. I could notice how conditionated they were. People lost their personality and their rights, it was incredible the way they work wothout thinking and how exploited they were. And example was the moment when the factory tried that the workers work while they were having lunch. I mean, how can that be possible?
I know that industrial revolution and the new technology were a big impact in those times. People had to change their lifestyle and become workers 24 hours per day. Jobs were a few and you had to do your best to keep them. In my opinion it was a hard age.
See you!

Elizabeth!
Hi!
Well. To be honest, I liked the movie that we saw in class but I think it was too short, I couldnt notice all the details that I would liked to see. What it really catched my attention was the attitude of Elizabeth. She was a Queen but she acted like if she was a normal person. I know that in those times kings were like sent by god and they were like a supreme human being but in her daily life she asked with people in a normal way. Maybe it was just the director´s point of view but I thought it was really different to the rest of the kings that I have met. A second thing that it was important in her reign was her attitude in front of her "obligations" as a woman.
She lived in a sexist time when women had to have children and take care of the house, but she was the Queen and she didnt want to get married just because. She was so strong and reliable with her believes that it was a crucial factor in the war with Spain. Maybe she wasnt a great strategist but she know how to move the pieces in a perfect way and England could win.
Have a nice weekend!
